I'm not sure if this is a bug in Apache or the Linux kernel, but I
thought I'd report it anyway incase it is Apache.  The httpd process
went awry, became unkillable even on a SIGKILL, and took the load of
the machine to 50.  Here is what the kernel reported in the logs:
