OpenCMIS is the collection of Java libraries, frameworks and tools around the CMIS (Content Management Interoperability Services) specification [0]. The OpenCMIS 0.9.0 release is a major step, as it introduces complete support for CMIS 1.0 and CMIS 1.1 on the client and on the server side, for all CMIS bindings. The OpenCMIS Java interfaces have been extended to support the new CMIS 1.1 features and they are largely backwards compatible to previous OpenCMIS releases. The internal implementation has been refactored to reduce the number of dependencies, improve the performance and provide better compatibility with different runtime environments, such as application servers and JAX-WS implementations. OpenCMIS 0.9.0 download packages are available on the Apache mirrors [1] or you can get them via the ASF Maven repository [2] as described at [3]. Refer to http://chemistry.apache.org for comprehensive user & developer documentation as well as OpenCMIS samples. Have fun!
