You are right.  I agree with you on tracking XML Protocol.
Maybe, since there is no specification proposed yet (right?), I was not
sure know
how to proceed the architecture design with XML Protocol.
I think I expressed my question in a wrong way.

I'm a bit confused by the 2nd sentence .. check it with who?

*We* decide what this project is about and I suggested a few weeks ago
that we should track the XML Protocol work and got many +1s and no
disagreements. Who else needs to say anything about what this project
does??
