Subject Re: [GUMP@brutus]: ws-jaxme/ws-jaxme prerequisite failed
Date Tue, 25 May 2004 21:25:53 GMT
hi

gump is an experiment in community continuous integration. these
messages are thrown out when something that gump depends on has failed
to build. (they are a bit confusing but the gump team are currently
looking for ways to improve the situation.)

what's been experience was a so-called GumpStorm. bootstrap ant failed
causing the failure of hundreds of projects. some mailing lists (like
the jakarta commons) have been deluged with hundreds of GUMP failure
reports.

i think that it's all fixed now (see
http://brutus.apache.org:8080/gump/buildLog.html).
