Marshall Schor commented on UIMA-1390:
--------------------------------------

Burn - I'm thinking of closing this with a won't fix, given we now have the bootstrap launcher
that can take libraries of jars as elements of the classpath. That may be a bit short of
what this Jira was trying to achieve, which was to put *all* of the jars into one lib (they
are all in one lib for base UIMA except for the eclipse plugins; for uima-as, there are 3rd
party jars that the third party code may well want in some hierarchy of folders).

Is this OK with you?

> We could include a uima.userlibraries file containing all the jars needed by projects
using UIMA ... would avoid the need to add the jars one by one when setting up the classpath
... simply import this file and then add the library to the project's build path. It could
contain separate sets for core UIMA and UIMA-AS.
> The adjustExamplePaths script could correct its absolute paths.
