Subject Why are the doSelectJoinXXX() methods protected?
Date Fri, 19 Oct 2001 17:33:56 GMT
Hi --

In trying to call the doSelectJoinXXX() methods in Torque, I found that they
are protected, and thus inaccessable.

I imagine that they must have been public at one time since the HowTo
(http://jakarta.apache.org/turbine/turbine-2/howto/peers-howto.html) uses
them in an example.

In the Peer.vm file they look like...

    protected static Vector doSelectJoin${joinColumnId}(Criteria c)
    protected static Vector doSelectJoinAllExcept${excludeString}(Criteria

Are they supposed to be protected now, and we should expose them in our
XXXPeer clases? I changed them to "public" for now just to get past this...
