TURPIN Michel commented on TOMEE-2119:
--------------------------------------

-By the way, I fail to see where it is specified a provider should be enabled with CDI injection.
If one could tell me what part of the spec defines this behavior it could help me so I can
make sure the tools I'm working on should be safe to use on other application servers and
also get out of the "It works but I don't know why" zone.-

Found it on 10.2.2

> Providers are not always integrated with CDI
> --------------------------------------------
>
> Key: TOMEE-2119
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TOMEE-2119
> Project: TomEE
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: TomEE Core Server
> Affects Versions: 7.0.3
> Reporter: TURPIN Michel
>
> This might be related to TOMEE-2045 and I haven't tested against the latest sources,
but here is my issue :
> When registering a provider (say an ExceptionMapper) with its class through a Feature,
no injection ever happen even if the provider is annotated with {{@ApplicationScoped}} for
instance.
> The problem is solved when the {{@Provider}} annotation is also present on the provider.
