Subject [jira] [Resolved] (TOMEE-1793) PostConstruct and PreRenderView called twice on load
Date Fri, 06 May 2016 10:26:13 GMT

Matthew Broadhead resolved TOMEE-1793.
    Resolution: Not A Problem

ok it seems i must have been having a bad day that day because some resources say that prerenderview
will be called every time the view is rendered. i do not know if this is the desired behaviour
but the fix in my original submission seems to work ok. thank you for the support and i
am now looking to move from plume over to tomee plus or another version. i thought i was
on the default stack. maybe that could be made more clear on the download page?

> May have started after recent Oracle java update (1.8.0-92-b14) but suddenly all ManagedBeans
seem to be calling PostConstruct and PreRenderView twice on View load. Second time it is
called the request parameters are empty. Result is that any redirect in PreRenderView gets
executed. Determined second request was a Partial Request so surrounded PreRenderView listener
