I still don't know tribes, but then my non-educated guess at this point would be that 
there is something wrong in your configuration.
Can you copy/paste it here ? (remove sensible things like passwords, public IP addresses 
etc..)(but not to the point of making it uncheckable).

Then maybe some tribes-specialist can take over ?
