All,

Sorry for the off-topic post, but this community has a variety of
backgrounds and I've found it to be a good place to ask questions like
this.

Does anyone know of a good PGP library for Java? Most of the ones I've
seen are just wrappers around System.exec() and they call the
command-line tools. That seems very fragile to me.

I'm looking for something that is:

1. 100% Java or at least natively-bound to some library like Gnupg
(i.e. no wrappers around System.exec())

2. Does not require the use of Bouncy Castle's crypto

I ask for #2 because BC tends to be insanely slow, since they do
everything in Java and don't have access to the hardware crypto that
the JVM can provide.

So... has anyone done anything like this before?

Thanks,
- -chris
