Yes correct. I'm actually satisfied with the AccessLogValve, except the
limitation on we have know the request/response header before hand (There
was no option to log all headers). So extending the access log valve should
be able to solve that too..

Requirement is in the case of an issue, we have to have a mechanism for
monitoring log for tracking down the cause. Having the ability to log
request/response is an advantage here..
