I've seen others, on this list, experience database corruption issues when their servers shutdown, but Windows Server 2003/2008 R2 with UPS in place (etc...) does the job for me. At first, when the server shutdown at night for automatic updates, and the logs showed 'downtime', it alarmed me, and I was checking event viewer, wondering what happened, but then I became more tolerant of the automatic updates. When there become demand or a requirement for the server to be up all night with 'no' downtime, then I will turn off the automatic updates...of course. :) I'm looking forward to enhancing the app to service/support more businesses than the one business that it was originally designed for. When that is all done, of course, I have to turn off automatic updates. Trust me, I want to migrate to Linux, one day, but i have absolutely 'no' issues with Windows Server 2003/2008 R2. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? :) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- > Version: GnuPG/MacGPG2 v2.0.17 (Darwin) > Comment: GPGTools - http://gpgtools.org > Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ > > iQIcBAEBCAAGBQJRZdF9AAoJEBzwKT+lPKRY6DwQAMAd4p97Di6iZaSe3xv1xAhf > V/ugCUdaGC5dI3FGwa6llwpWNj7DxEkWlmDlz9pgVUEXki3/5pdRkQ6Hziawx8A7 > EpLIAVdkkOAeTk9v/FQpQB0k/TwgHRMsua4RDMmaHRg5l2f+ep0LOMPenGDYshJO > tno3n3X1uSmGDX5+TaHHw5wmcX9CZOI6Ve7x18vYHOkBAk3oQI/xCqA87XRXryeq > h5cgqNOhu98S7UrTwWfX2KrWvnx8P7WAnKmmsaY15KLuo3q+K48dz/aGA1minxHw > 0+zWlVakubaZgFDLi5kXyZqh7WlhmewlhzBBUwOc1Vi/kYVTwdv7adY3JO6gM4VI > Fn4KF0Gd6GoPDUXUMM4IWS7SzA0FCFLbCQHo/kn9LDXsWr5FfuGJTnDqJv+CQKwt > Mqc8T4vUxMm7C+ZcBLVknKDnMTVMn9lbrgN3IfXJOAHKmb8zvK9r1KnbnDqdo2ko > CTNMnRbmbOa7fVLBuVWmOE3RfXv4QWsLpe6IWs35rON31RklLM8Hgn8qNeL4D5o1 > C1mJaXEnOCdAy5KvxXsUyio+/9Fvp4c4mV3O+zbAK6zM0pYy7Mh/uK5wu/FjT7Iu > NIQLv7KAUA4MxYQeip1gXXNd3m5iNtAtFOw7n9pL6NjApiDJsfxBG0jVw8LVOL5q > N+RxCWtwGDus5W2e0hPm > =74Jg > -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscribe@tomcat.apache.org > For additional commands, e-mail: users-help@tomcat.apache.org > > --047d7bb0436416e19f04da082d07--
