I wonder if this is a JVM version issue... Sun/Oracle's JVM has shipped
with everything you need for JAXP for quite some time, now.
What vendor/version JVM are you using on the new system? Old system (if
you can still find out)?

Only operations that involve JAXP would cause this error... I would
imagine. Can you give us the full stack trace?
