I don't see a log error, only an INFO message.
Stop Tomcat. Delete all logs. Launch Tomcat. Attempt to login.
If it works, congratulations: continued procrastination has paid off.
If it doesn't work: post all logs and tomcat-users.xml files /in their
entirety/.
