$ LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$CATALINA_HOME/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
$ export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
$ ldd /opt/tomcat_6_0/lib/libtcnative-1.so

Make sure there are no unresolved references.
