Don't put your .war file in the <Host>'s appBase directory.  Instead, locate it outside
of Tomcat's directory structure, and create a file conf/Catalina/[host]/my#url#context.xml
containing a <Context> element with a docBase attribute pointing to the location of
specialfilename.war.
