Thanks for the info.  I'll pass it on to my Dev team to see if they can come up with a better
way of doing this.  I'm pretty sure they were just following the Spring documentation.

You've given me more ammunition to use for branding them with the "Scarlet I".

BTW: The bug entry says 7.0.4 for release, and some future release of 6.0.x, but I'll keep
an eye out for it in the release notes just in case.
