Now I'm really puzzled. Even when I remove everything in web.xml except <listener> it gives me the same error. i.e.:

Anyway I attach my original web.xml in question. Hope someone can help me. Thanks alot!! :)
 
IMHO Tomcat should give more error info.

Yep, after <description> but before <filter> definitions.
