Odd; -d64 is not valid on any JVM I have installed.

Look at the somewhat mislabeled "OS Architecture" cell on the Server Status page of the manager
webapp.  If it says x86, you're running in 32-bit mode.  For 64-bit mode, it should say AMD64
or equivalent.
