I worked (at arm's length) with BigIP load balancers and Weblogic at a client a long time ago (6 years or so) and they all worked as expected wrt server affinity. They either used the JSESSIONID cookie/URL parameter or they just added their own cookie that indicated to the lb which server "belonged" to the client. This technique should work with Tomcat (or any other server for that matter) as well. - -chris -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkk0MkcACgkQ9CaO5/Lv0PDIHQCgjCQixCr8XDcY/rzrwc/ArxVI tGoAnRKPtc6OxQB66d1ksYrksx2D8Zj3 =Zlaf -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To start a new topic, e-mail: users@tomcat.apache.org To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscribe@tomcat.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-help@tomcat.apache.org
