Minor correction: judging from the stack trace, the names should be Hello_jsp.java and Hello_jsp.class
(case matters, even on Windows).

Also, do the JSP examples that come with Tomcat work?

No, the startup script or the service wrapper (whichever you're using) takes care of that.
