Subject Re: Strange behaviour of JPDA within Tomcat 5.5
Date Tue, 01 Jul 2008 15:27:44 GMT
Hi Chuck,

there you go:

java version "1.5.0_14"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_14-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 1.5.0_14-b03, mixed mode)

OS:

Linux version 2.6.18-4-amd64 (Debian 2.6.18.dfsg.1-12etch2)
(dannf@debian.org) (gcc version 4.1.2 20061115 (prerelease) (Debian
4.1.1-21)) #1 SMP Fri May 4 00:37:33 UTC 2007

A solution would be to tunnel JPDA-traffic via SSH (it works like
charme), however, I'm wondering if I could let JPDA know to accept
traffic from i.e. localhost only... any hints on that?

Cheers

Gregor
