Subject Tomcat RemotingPhaseListener
Date Tue, 01 Jul 2008 14:08:42 GMT

Tomcat writes in a log all connections to jsf pages in this way :

01-jul-2008 8:06:00 org.apache.shale.remoting.faces.RemotingPhaseListener
INFO: Checking view identifier '/registro/reservas.jsp'

I'm dealing with JSF lifecycle.
Maybe I've to precise i use a "Login" filter which has to verify user data
for access permissions

questions :

1) writing everytime (4/5sec.) in log decreases tomcat velocity ? i can
imagine... well in this case how can i turn it off ? (i saw there is a in conf directory but i don't know values i 've to
replace / substitute ).

2) If i refer to the shale API : the RemotingPhaseListener is :

A JavaServer Faces PhaseListener that provides support for intercepting some
incoming requests, and processing them separately from the standard Request
Processing Lifecycle, without requiring explicit configuration (for example,
of a Servlet or a Filter).

hum well it hard to me thinking all requests from my application are
processed separately from the standard Request Processing Lifecycle. May be
i don't understand correctly...

Someone could explain me please ?
