Subject Java Memory Options in Tomcat Startup
Date Tue, 20 May 2008 20:03:32 GMT
In the startup_tomcat400.sh there is the following line:

java -ms64m -Duser.dir="$CATALINA_BASE" -Dcatalina.base="$CATALINA_BASE"
-Dcatalina.home="$CATALINA_HOME" -Djava.awt.headless=true
-Dos400.awt.native=true org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap "$@" start

can someone shed some light on the -ms64m. I know it has to do with memory
but is it the amount of memory that tomcat gets or is it the amount of
memory each thread that tomcat create gets?

Thanks,

Susan
