Check whether the value of the "defaultHost" attribute of <Engine>
corresponds to the "name" attribute of one of your <Host>s. If this is
not the case, you may get the result you've seen.
What makes me somewhat unsure is you should also see a warning logged at
startup. But in the snippet above there is none.
