Subject RE: Pls help : How to make case insensitive URL(JSP) on Tomcat 5.5

can't you force something like that in the welcome page attribute of the web.xml file in the
conf folder?

i.e.

    <welcome-file-list>
        <welcome-file>index.html</welcome-file>
        <welcome-file>index.htm</welcome-file>
        <welcome-file>index.jsp</welcome-file>
        <welcome-file>change_ctrl.htm</welcome-file>
    </welcome-file-list>

how are they getting to the URL in the first place?
