Subject Re: Compiling mod-jk plugin for SunOne on Solaris

I have used -lgcc_s as the linker option and that seems to have done the trick.

Thanks everybody for helping out.

Your GCC compiler comes with a dynamic library libgcc_s.so.
Unfortunately gcc by default links dynamically against libgcc_s, so the
resulting binary needs this gcc lib on the target system. If it is not
installed in the system default library location, you need to add its
directory to LD_LIBRARY_PATH before starting the web server. The lib
could be at

/usr/sfw/lib/libgcc_s.so.1

then you would need to add /usr/sfw/lib to your LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

I just used the default linker options that were in Makefile.solaris.
