I find that after making a change to a file such as server.xml and stopping and starting the server that it won't respond for several minutes. Nothing in the logs indicates a problem, but I cannot connect from a browser for upwards of 10 minutes after that. Windows Server 2003 Tomcat 5.5.9 JRE 5.0.10 I searched the KB on tomcat.apache.org and the Nabble Forums for similar problems. I wondered if it was related to resource locking (http://tomcat.apache.org/faq/windows.html#lock), but didn't know how to tell. I looked in the event logs and found nothing useful either. Any tips or things to try would be appreciated.
