Subject RE: Tomcat 4.1 Issue - Strange - Fixed
Date Fri, 15 Dec 2006 14:16:34 GMT
Hello All,

We resolved the problem.
The OS is 64 Bits and the Java version was 32 Bits, so after we installed
java 64 Bits. Our Tomcat is not shutting down anymore !!!
And it is pretty much stable, it has been running for 2 days now. We will
keep monitoring it but we believe the issue is resolved.

Thanks again everyone who helped me on this issue !!!

Best Regards,

Bruno

Hello All,

Thanks a lot for the help everyone is providing me.

I was also confused when start reading about a BUG that was never fixed.

We have other machinces that are running fine with the same configuration
that is in this server in which is having issue.

I need to do some further troubleshooting to identify if it is a real HW
issue. This is our customers box and I have to positive to tell them that
their HW is screwed up. This is the worst part.

I will run the utility that Chris has mentioned as soon as I run it on my
test server.

I am very new to this stuff, I am more a DBA guy, though nowadays we need to
know as much as possible. :-)

Thanks again everyone, it is being very helpful for me to get to know some
stuffs about Tomcat as well as java!!!

PEACE!!

Bruno

I can understand your confusion... you /did/ have to ask him twice what
the error was. He posted it twice, right here:

#
# HotSpot Virtual Machine Error : 11
# Error ID : 4F530E43505002EF
#
# An error report file has been saved as hs_err_pid22350.log.
# Please refer to the fil [messsage ends prematurely]

I stand by every one of the statements I make on this list. I'm
disappointed that you lash out whenever anyone questions your postings.

Here's a tip for not looking like an idiot: don't post a link to a
"fixed" bug that clearly says it's not fixed.

I don't really care about your game, either, Martin. I'm actually going
to help this guy. That's enough of a win for me.
