Subject Error moving JPA app from Tomcat 5.5.12 to Tomcat 5.0.30
Date Tue, 14 Nov 2006 14:42:18 GMT
I have a wellworking Tomcat JPA application running on Tomcat 5.5.12.

As far as I know, it should be possible to deploy it on 5.0.30 as well. But when running a
Servlet I get the error:

javax.persistence.PersistenceException: java.io.FileNotFoundException: JAR entry META-INF/persistence.xml
not found in /[path removed]/ROOT/WEB-INF/lib/entities.jar
        org.hibernate.ejb.Ejb3Configuration.configure(Ejb3Configuration.java:247)

        javax.persistence.Persistence.createEntityManagerFactory(Persistence.java:51)
        javax.persistence.Persistence.createEntityManagerFactory(Persistence.java:33)

            java.lang.Class.newInstance0(Class.java:350

persistence.xml IS located in the entities.jar-file.

What could be wrong?

Regards,
René
