Securityfilter (http://securityfilter.sourceforge.net) is a Filter
designed to work exactly like the web.xml-configured security.

I am using it on two projects and it works great. No need to re-invent
the wheel. You can even use it with Tomcat realms, so you don't have to
write any of your own code if you don't want to.
