When using a self-signed certificate, you often have problems where Java HTTPS requests encounter an invalid certificate problem. This is probably what is happening here. Since your cert is self-signed, it is not trusted by Java. You need to use 'keytool' to import your certificate into your keystore. I'm sure the online Tomcat documentation covers this. -chris --------------enigAB0630F317D2E2DE95DD6989 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFEyjkN9CaO5/Lv0PARApbaAJ93vvyeXGvRcP1bL8OR59ZpywK8agCdHoN8 7wE7TuV7kxiBO11qvwMgy1M= =PPNZ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enigAB0630F317D2E2DE95DD6989--
