Yes, I could ping "" from my pc, but not
"" (8181 is the port number on which tomcat is
receiving requests). If I use "telnet localhost 8181" from, it lets me in... but "telnet 8181"
doesnt work.


Can you ping "" from your pc?
I am thinking the name resolutoin( ip -> pc name) is not
working properly.
