iptables -A INPUT -j LOG
iptables -A OUTPUT -j LOG

Then do

dmesg -c 2&> /dev/null;

dmesg | grep 127.0.0.1
or just
dmesg

if you are running a cluster

iptables -I INPUT 1 -s 127.0.0.1 -d 127.0.0.1 -j ACCEPT
iptables -I OUTPUT 1 -s 127.0.0.1 -d 127.0.0.1 -j ACCEPT
