It works for me just fine. Here are my environment settings:

setTomcatEnv.bat - Input parms: C:\jdk1.5.0_05_x64 c:\apache-tomcat-5.5.12
setTomcatEnv.bat - Third parameter (CATALINA_BASE) not supplied, defaulting
to CATALINA_HOME
setTomcatEnv.bat - JAVA_HOME=C:\jdk1.5.0_05_x64
setTomcatEnv.bat - CATALINA_HOME=c:\apache-tomcat-5.5.12
setTomcatEnv.bat - CATALINA_BASE=c:\apache-tomcat-5.5.12
setTomcatEnv.bat - CATALINA_OPTS=

Notice that I am using the 64 bit version of the JDK.

Now, when I run using the Sysdeo plugin under Eclipse I believe I am using
the 32 bit Sun compiler as Eclipse does not work with the 64bit Java yet.

HTH - Richard

Subject: XP Pro x64 Edition

Has anyone gotten tomcat running on MS Window XP Professional x64 Edition?

Is there any documented procedure of how to work such magic?

Thanks,
Sorry if I repeated someone, I am not really good at searching archived mail
