Hi Martin,

I have tomcat 5.0.25 -> 30 running on Sarge without a problem. Sun  
JVM 1.42r5 and greater.

The orginal poster seems to have a problem with his application as  
manager applets etc work.

I would however recommend running a 2.6 kernel
