that not entirely the case, as the service.bat examines CATALINA_HOME. if t=
he env variable is set to 1 installation, teh 2nd service install will use =
that value also. modify service.bat in each installation. you could try rem=
arking out this part

rem if not "%CATALINA_HOME%" =3D=3D "" goto gotHome

which will force the wrapper to use the current directory,
