Hi, there.

I'm trying to start Tomcat 4.1.30 on my XP laptop with j2re1.4.2_05

It throws the following error:

The JAVA_HOME environment variable is not defined correctly
This environment variable is needed to run this program
Using CATALINA_BASE: C:\jakarta-tomcat-4.1.30
Using CATALINA_HOME: C:\jakarta-tomcat-4.1.30
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: C:\jakarta-tomcat-4.1.30\temp
Using JAVA_HOME: C:\j2re1.4.2_05
El sistema no puede encontrar el archivo

(Note: "El sistema no puede encontrar el archivo..." means "The system cannot find the file..."
in Spanish.)

The extrange thing is that C:\j2re1.4.2_05 is the path where my Java resides.

Any clue?

Thank you in advance for any hint o suggestion.
