Hi..

For setting CATALINA_HOME and JAVA_HOME 

For windows-98
u can open autoexec.bat file

for Windows XP/2000
go to control panel
select System
then select Advanced
then select Environment variables

u can set JAVA_HOME="<installation directory">
CATALINA_HOME="<tomcat installation path">
