I don't have Tomcat 5..I have Tomcat 4...so the BootstrapServiceContext is the class to use
with jsvc..

The link said the class exists for tomcat 4, but you need to write something like it for tomcat
5.

I found the BootstrapService and BootstrapServiceContext files and I will look at them for
methods on implementing them. I also looked at the thread from the link you provided and it
looks like there is not need for a class to implement the daemon. It lo
ok like a script was created that passed parameters to the jsvc for starting and stopping.

 
Is this correct...and if so...why is the class needed
