several different ways, but this is not a tomcat related question

1. HTTP, set up a servlet/jsp on one server, and object on machine two can invoke the servlet,
then the servlet can invoke the
object on machine one.

2. RMI, read up on RMI

3. Straight TCP, but you probably dont want to do this :)

I have 2 machines. Both of them have Tomcat running. There is a java object in the first Tomcat
environment and a java object in the
second Tomcat environment(different machines). Can these 2 java objects communicate using
Tomcat framework?

Is there a way to configure this?

The second java object uses connection pooling capability of Tomcat.

Any early response will be highly appreciated.
