Yes, the <Factory> element is deprecated for the CoyoteConnector.

You can set the
socketFactory="" attribute
on the <Connector> element.  The catch is that you need to have:
  public class MyOwnServerSocketFactory extends {

However, it should still give you enough to do what you want.
