Or better yet:

worker		worker		worker--TC
    |              |		|
    |              |		|
JK2:proxy     JK2:proxy   JK2:instance
    \	    	|	  /
     \		|	 /
      \		|       /
    Master Apache process

Something like a "mod_cgid", one Apache worker gets dedicated to serving TC, the 
  others are talking to it via Apache's internal mechanisms.
