Subject How to turn on uriMap debug logging in mod_jk2?
Date Thu, 20 Nov 2003 21:45:08 GMT
There are a number of places in jk_uriMap.c with code such as:

    if (uriMap->mbean->debug > 1)
        env->l->jkLog(env, env->l, JK_LOG_DEBUG,
                      "uriMap.mapUri() no match found\n");

I have been unable to turn this on.

I have in my workers2.properties:

vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv
# Only for debugging. In production, comment it out.
[logger.file:0]
level=DEBUG
file=${serverRoot}/var/apache2/log/jk_log

[workerEnv:]
info=Global server options
timing=1
debug=10
# Default native logger (logger.apache2)
# can be overridden to a file logger,
# useful when debugging jk2 problems
logger=logger.file:0

# Define the communication channel
[channel.socket:localhost:8009]
info=Ajp13 forwarding over socket
tomcatId=localhost:8009

# Map the Tomcat PSR webapp to the Web server uri space
[uri:psrtest1.princeton.edu/*]
info=Map the whole webapp
worker=ajp13:localhost:8009
debug=10

# Should point to same file as shm directive in Tomcat's jk2.properties file
[shm]
file=${serverRoot}/var/apache2/log/shm.file
size=1048576

[status:status]
# Uri mapping
[uri:/jkstatus/*]
worker=status:status
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

This sets "uriEnv->mbean->debug" but not "uriMap->mbean->debug".

How do I set the latter? I thought my debug directive in the [uri:] section
would do it.

Thanks,
       Dennis
