Subject RE: jakarta-regexp library
Date Wed, 29 Oct 2003 20:52:15 GMT
Hi Chris,

But when I put in my WEB-INF/lib, it still gives me the javac compiler
error. I can solve this only by placing it in common/lib. Actually, I am
using a newer version of the jar. I am using Jakarta-regexp-1.3.jar whereas
the server/lib has Jakarta-regexp-1.2.jar.

You should put that JAR file into your webapp's lib directory. The one
in servet/lib is for the server only. Webapps do not have access to
these classes.
