Subject RE: tomcat startup problem - tomcat window disappears

tomcat/bin/startup.bat

in one of the last lines change the keyword "start" to "run".  Then go into
a DOS box and run startup.bat.  This time any faults will remain on the
screen and you can start debugging from there.
