I don't think it is. But it might be as easy as:

X=/usr/local/tomcat-5.0.3/conf/Catalina/www.vhost.com
Y=/usr/local/tomcat-5.0.4/conf/Catalina/www.vhost.com
cp -r $X $Y
perl -pi -e "s|$X|$Y|" $Y/*.xml
