This is why an inactive Kazaa might interfere with Tomcat. Probably the spyware applications use the same ports as Tomcat! Kazaa also downloads illegal (not licensed) programs which might also be infected with viruses. Your ISP knows that you are using Kazaa and you open yourself to possible prosecution for using unlicensed products! Kazaa is a brilliantly architectured malignant application and IMHO you should uninstall it ASAP. >From: "David" Reply-To: "Tomcat Users List" To: "Tomcat User" Subject: >Conflict of Kazaa and Tomcat Date: Wed, 25 Jun 2003 01:36:39 +0800 >MIME-Version: 1.0 Received: from apache.org ([208.185.179.12]) by >mc5-f26.law1.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(5.0.2195.5600); Tue, 24 Jun >2003 10:37:06 -0700 Received: (qmail 54798 invoked by uid 500); 24 Jun 2003 >17:36:39 -0000 Received: (qmail 54783 invoked from network); 24 Jun 2003 >17:36:38 -0000 Received: from smtp23.singnet.com.sg (165.21.101.203) by >daedalus.apache.org with SMTP; 24 Jun 2003 17:36:38 -0000 Received: from >mozart (bb220-255-89-65.singnet.com.sg [220.255.89.65])by >smtp23.singnet.com.sg (8.12.9/8.12.9) with ESMTP id h5OHadWg000790for ; >Wed, 25 Jun 2003 01:36:39 +0800 X-Message-Info: >JGTYoYF78jEHjJx36Oi8+Q1OJDRSDidP Mailing-List: contact >tomcat-user-help@jakarta.apache.org; run by ezmlm Precedence: bulk >List-Unsubscribe: List-Subscribe: List-Help: List-Post: List-Id: "Tomcat >Users List" Delivered-To: mailing list tomcat-user@jakarta.apache.org >Message-ID: <002d01c33a77$2b02d130$4159ffdc@mozart> X-Priority: 3 (Normal) >X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook, Build 10.0.2627 >X-MIMEOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2600.0000 Importance: Normal >X-Spam-Rating: daedalus.apache.org 1.6.2 0/1000/N Return-Path: >tomcat-user-return-68923-matkovitsg=msn.com@jakarta.apache.org >X-OriginalArrivalTime: 24 Jun 2003 17:37:06.0242 (UTC) >FILETIME=[3B083A20:01C33A77] > >Hi guys, > >I am a newbie to Tomcat.
