Hi, 

You know, there is a flag in tomcat/conf/web.xml on the jasper config :
	
	 <init-param>
            <param-name>enablePooling</param-name>
            <param-value>false</param-value>
       </init-param>

So you shouldn't need to disable tagpooling in tomcat source before compiling it. 

I've always had a problem with tagpooling and using the osCache (www.opensymphony.com) library.
For some reason it does not work correctly with tomcat, so I have to disable tagpooling too.
