Subject Connecting IIS5 to Tomcat 4.1.24; 404 error when no 8080 port specification with localhost
Date Mon, 16 Jun 2003 08:54:49 GMT
Hi
I also hooked up the
/examples context. Now http://localhost:8080/examples/jsp works fine
but
http://localhost/examples/jsp gives me (too) a 404 (The Page cannot be
found) error.

Funny: First it did work without specification of port 8080. Then - I
don't know why -
it did not anymore.
How come?

Somehow the page servername/examples... on port 80 does not get
redirected by IIS to Tomcat. Meanwhile I reinstalled TomCat
created the .properties files anew with notepad but to no avail.
I really would appreciate help

Thank you very much

Andreas Meyer
